It's about managing and using money wisely. You learn how to manage your cash, invest it and make it work for you. When you major in finance, you learn about the financial markets, how to decide where to put your money, and how to keep risks under control. It's not just your personal bank account; It's also about helping companies make strategic monetary moves. In the real world, finance professionals work in banks, investment firms, insurance, and for large companies, helping them with their finances.​ The reason I chose to major in Finance is my fascination with the complexities of financial markets and their changes over time, and decision making. Finance is the lifeblood of businesses and economies and shapes the world we live in. I believe that understanding the principles of finance is essential for making decisions, even more so in my case where I want to operate my own business. I always say: "If you want to have money, you must know how it works in the financial world."

Career Goals

​My goals are to learn how money is managed financially in the business sector. These are essential knowledge that I will be able to obtain at the end of my degree. Based on this, I will continue to nurture my entrepreneurial side to form my own businesses and apply my financial knowledge to them to reduce the risks of failure. From now on, I find myself analyzing and doing business online, thus trying to nourish my business side and fill myself with new learning based on achievements and failures along the way.
